Lesson 1: Using and Creating Loops in Pro Tools
Tons of music is made using tempo-synced audio loops.. After this class, you’ll be well on your way to making professional sounding tracks. Learn how to leverage the power of REX files, Elastic Audio, and Pro Tools looping commands to quickly build amazing arrangements.
Lesson 2: Editing
Editing is one of the big secrets to making your tracks sound professional. Understanding the editing modes and tools of Pro Tools is essential for using the program to it’s fullest: using the all powerful Smart Tool, timestretching, shuffling, slipping, understanding Grid mode, and much more.
Lesson 3: Recording
Pro Tools has a number of killer recording features that will make your life easier, and make your tracks sound better. Understanding the various ways to punch record and loop record, how to handle multiple takes, and file management are all covered.
Lesson 4: Mixing
This class covers several of the most misunderstood techniques of mixing in Pro Tools. This includes understanding Aux tracks, submixing, and how to setup and properly route reverbs and delays using inserts and sends. You’ll get a Pro Tools session (with audio files) to work with for this class.
